Laws that concern citizens in the host country:
The Republic of Cyprus follows the laws of the European Union.
Visa must be obtained in advance by applying to the Cypriot Embassy in Doha - Consular Section. Before traveling for a period of not less than 5 working days. To do and not to do

• Inform the embassy while you are in the country to provide immediate assistance in case of any emergency.

• When entering the airport, you must take into account not to carry large amounts of cash exceeding (10000) Euro.
• In case of excess, you must inform the customs officer of the cash in your possession to avoid directing the charges to you.
• In the event of any problem - God forbid - should speed up communication at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Nicosia and notify officials of the content of the problem.
• Check the official status of people who ask you to show your identity.
• Keep a copy of your passport and identity card for reference when reviewing the mission in case of loss of passport.
• Do not allow the security services to search the place of residence without permission from the competent authority.
• No passport or ID card shall be used by any party in any way.
