His Excellency the Ambassador attended the Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian Nation at the Palestinian Embassy, ​​in the presence of His Excellency the Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides, and His Excellency the ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council and a number of foreign ambassadors accredited to Cyprus.

Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus, inaugurated the new building of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the capital, Nicosia. In addition to the official announcement of the re-name of the street in which the new Embassy building is to be (Qatar Street), as well as the name of the garden adjacent to the Embassy building to be (Doha Park).
