On the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the State of Qatar, H.E. Mr. Ali Yousuf ALMULLA, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cyprus, and in the presence of H.E. Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, President of the Republic of Cyprus, inaugurated the new building of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the capital, Nicosia. In addition to the official announcement of the re-name of the street in which the new Embassy building is to be (Qatar Street), as well as the name of the garden adjacent to the Embassy building to be (Doha Park).

HE Mr. Ali Youssef Al Mulla, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cyprus, met Mr. Stefanos Stefanou, Secretary-General of the AKEL Party, at the office of the party. During the visit, the bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed.

HE Mr. Ali Youssef Al Mulla, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cyprus, met the Archbishop Chrysostomos II at the headquarters of the Archbishops and exchanged cordial conversations with him

HE Mr. Ali Youssef Al Mulla, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cyprus, received Mr Stefano Nicolaou the President of the Qatari Cypriot Businessmen Association and the Executive Secretary of the Association at his office and discussed with them the ways to develop the Qatari-Cypriot relationship and to activate the association's role between businessmen of both countries.

HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, received a written message from HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, pertaining to bilateral relations and means of boosting the developing them.

HE President of the Republic of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades received Friday 5 November 2021 the credentials of HE Ali Yousuf Al Mulla as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cyprus.
